These are the states and the time in transit days from HEINI’S CHEESE CHALET. It is your resposibility to place your order and give it time to reach its destination. If you do not choose the appropriate shipping for your order, we will not replace the shipment. We are not responsible for delays with UPS. We will provide tracking information once your order is shipped.
1-2 days: CT, DE, IL, IN, KY, MD, MA, MI, MN, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, TN, VT, VA, WV.
2-3 days: AL, IA, ME, MO, NC, SC, WI.
4-7 days: AZ, AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, KS, LA, MS, MT, NE, NV, NM, ND, OK, OR, SD, TX, UT, WA, WY.
Some states such as CA, OR and ID have areas that need up to 5 days for delivery. AZ, AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, KS, LA, MS, MT, NE, NV, NM, ND, OK, OR, SD, TX, UT, WA, WY please use the air shipping option if you expect an order to arrive by Christmas after December 15th. Alaska and Hawaii must use 1st or 2nd Day Air! If you are ordering a gift basket make a note in the "comments" box during checkout to specify how you want your order shipped and we will add the charges to your order.
GUIDELINES FOR ORDERING
HEINI’S CHEESE CHALET has been producing artisan cheese in the heart of Ohio’s Amish Country since 1935. We are sure you will be delighted with your selections. Please inspect your package immediately upon receipt. If there is any problem with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. Credit will not be granted if unsatisfactory items are discarded or consumed.
ORDERS
Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, seven days a week via our web site.
Telephone orders can be placed Monday – Saturday from 9am to 5pm EST. Call us toll-free at (800) 253-6636.
HEINI’S CHEESE CHALET accepts the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, and Discover. Cash, checks or money orders and not accepted for online purchases. All prices are subject to change without notice. Catalog prices do not reflect the cost of delivery, with the exception of Gift packages. We do not ship C.O.D. Sales taxes will automatically be added to any applicable purchase.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
It usually takes 24 hours to receive and process your order. Orders placed before midnight will be automatically shipped the following business day, Monday –Thursday.
Please note that all cheese orders placed after 12 pm on Wednesday will ship the following Monday. It is our discretion when an order can be shipped so please make sure that you leave ample time for your order to be delivered safely. Our orders are picked up by UPS at 5pm EST and this days shipping does not count as a full business day. Shipping options for Ohio residents is Monday through Thursday. We cannot ship on Saturday or Sunday.
During November, December and other peak periods, we suggest you allow an additional 2-7 business days for delivery.
UPS does not ship to PO Boxes.
HEINI’S CHEESE CHALET will not assume responsibility for any incorrect addresses provided to us; delivery, return and re-delivery charges will apply. We strongly recommend that when ordering perishable items, you confirm that the recipient or other responsible party will be available to receive, open and properly store you order. We are unable to replace cheeses that perish due to recipient’s being unavailable at the time of delivery. Furthermore, please note that our boxes are clearly marked “perishable” on the outside and we are not responsible for the items received but not opened.
PACKAGING
During the summer months and shipping to warmer climates, cheeses are packaged in insulated cartons, fitted with gel ice packs and cushioned with packing peanuts to ensure quality standards for up to 48 hours. There may be an additional charge for insulated cartons and gel packs. Items ordered together are not necessarily shipped together.
QUALITY
In order to provide the freshest possible product each order of HEINI’S Cheese is cut “Fresh to Order” .
PRODUCT SUBSTITUTIONS
If an availability issue arises with any Heini’s product, a member of our sales team will contact you as soon as possible to make all the necessary adjustments.
PRIVACY & SECURITY
All e-mail addresses and personal information (such as name, address, credit card number, etc.) are transmitted in an encrypted form for your protection. All information is collected for our use only; HEINI’S CHEESE CHALET protects this information both online and offline.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
All gift certificates are mailed out via USPS First-Class Mail upon receipt of your order. HEINI’S CHEESE CHALET gift certificates are not valid at the LACE BOUTIQUE or Gift Shop. Online gift certificates are not available at this time. Gift certificates must be mailed in with your written order. Contact info@heinis.com for a printable order form.

A personalized gift note can be included with all of our products at no extra charge.
